My wonderful asteroid group–Amazing Asteroids– wanted some examples of Hekate(100) in aspect. First, let’s review the nature of Hekate and then look at Hekate in aspect in the natal chart. Hekate is the shadow side. We, all, have one. The shadow side is that about ourselves that we do not want to FACE. Do you know when someone tells you something about yourself that is obvious to them, but you thought you hid it? lol That would be an example of your shadow side. People can, often, see it, but you are the last to know *sigh* Remember that an asteroid must have a very narrow orb. I allow up to three degrees in a conjunction, but three degrees is wide. In other aspects, I allow one to two degrees. Some astrologers only accept exact orbs. That is how very close asteroids need to be!
Sun/Hekate
In this case, the native may not want to face something about his own ego or something about his relationship with his father. Also, the person may not want to face how much he wants to succeed.
Moon/Hekate
In this case, the native may not want to accept something about his emotions or the relationship with his mother. Also, the person may not want to face his/her feminine side i.e softness, kindness, gentleness.
Venus/Hekate
The person may not want to face something about how he is when he loves i.e that he is too selfish, as one example. There could be many possible examples.
Mars/Hekate
The person may not want to face something about how he goes after goals, such as that he is too ruthless, for one example. He may not want to face his own masculine side, as well. Each sex has a masculine and feminine side. This native may not feel comfortable going after goals aggressively. He may think it is unseemly, so hides it from himself, for example.
Saturn/Hekate
The native may not want to face something about how he deals with responsibility. Maybe, he has a child and does not care for the child well enough. He may not want to face that, for one example. Perhaps, he does not study hard enough to get into graduate school. He may not want to face that.
Jupiter /Hekate
The native may not want to face the fact that he takes too many risks or not enough risks. He may not want to face the fact that he does not listen to his conscience enough.
Chiron/Hekate
This native may not want to face his pain. One can see the nature of his pain by the house of Chiron.
Other Asteroids/Hekate
I have seen the most interesting things when Hekate is conjunct other asteroids. Examples are escaping me now, but check out this fascinating asteroid in your charts.
