I will not feed you pablum. New Age pablum is everywhere. My articles are an alternative. I will tell it straight.However, that being said, this is not a straightforward topic. My life has been a singular thwarting from one person. Hence, I seek to understand the person. I ask the question everyone has asked at one time or another. CAN THE PERSON HELP IT? I go back and forth on the answer. That is the subject of this article.
I will discuss the chart I referenced above as a starting point for this discussion. You write and tell me what you think. For this particular person, she has what I call a dreadful placement. Many Astrologers will not use the words good and bad with respect to Astrology. Many people will not use the words good and bad with respect to life. That is one major reason the world is in the state it is in but that is a story for another day. For now, we will discuss one of the most dreaded aspects in the natal chart, in my opinion.
The aspect in question is the exact Combust of Mercury and the Sun. The word combust refers to a conflagration of the mind by the sun. It is a graphic image but is it true? I think that the native who has the exact combust does not have much of a chance for personal growth on her own. With God, all things are possible. However, the nature of the combust is the nature of a withered, burnt forest. Is it the forest’s fault it was razed by the fires.No, perhaps a camper left an ember that grew into a flame and conflagration resulted. That is the nature of the exact Mercury/Sun combust. If the Combust is wider, the effects are lessened. Each degree counts and counts a great deal. A five degree combust is an entirely different matter than a one degree combust. For me, a close combust is a key factor of emotional and mental illness. When we go back to our original question of a person being able to transmute his basic nature, I think one can do little to change oneself if one has the unenviable aspect of an exact Mercury/Sun combust. Let me describe how it functions.
The Combust functions in a proscribed manner: one which can be predicted. The native becomes extremely self centered. The universe of the native has little room for noting the feelings of others. This sounds as though it is a judgement statement but it is not. It is simply the energies inherent in the chart. The native with an exact combust will, often, say and do things which hurt and anger others. This is simply because the vantage point of the native is so inner focused that she simply does not SEE what she is doing.
The native with the Combust suffers a great deal. She knows there is something wrong with her but does not know the remedy. It is its own form of hell to relive the same issue over and over and have no means of escape. This is the condition of the Combust native, in my opinion.
The person to whom I am referencing with the exact Sun/Mercury Combust, also, has an exact conjunction of the Asteroid Sado to the Moon. An asteroid which conjuncts the Moon touches the heart of the person very deeply. Hence, when studying charts, pay particular attention to the Moon. Sado is sadism. Hence, we have a native who will be sadistic. One could predict the life course of this native when she took her first breath. She would be a mentally ill sadist, in my opinion. Once again, I leave you with the caveat that God can change anything but one must find the true God. However, that is a subject that shall be left for another time.
Let’s leave the person mentioned above and go on to some general aspects. I have been thinking about two aspects which indicate abuse. They are Moon conjunct Dejanira Asteroid and Moon conjunct the Child Asteroid.The former is more deleterious than the latter. I have the latter and have been thinking about it for the last few days. I was wondering if the abuse aspects could be avoided. What about if the abuser died before he abused?.Would that alter the fact that the native is in possession of an abuse aspect in the natal chart. After much thought, I think the native with abuse aspects will have them play out because it is one’s fate. If the abuser were to die, another would take his place.
There are so many aspects we could discuss when discussing fate. Beauty can be seen in the chart. Venus trine or sextile the Ascendent seems to confer a girl next door kind of beauty. Venus square or oppose the Ascendent seems to confer an exotic beauty. Lilith conjunct the Ascendent or MC seems to make for a very erotic, exotic kind of beauty that I have come to recognize by asking for pictures of natives with this placement. Apollo conjunct the Ascendent is a native who is placed on a pedestal by others in the manner of a Greek god.
I have opened Pandora’s box with this question because all aspects are fated to play out , I suppose. Perhaps, we are coming full circle. The natal chart is the blueprint of human being. Hence, it will play out, barring the human being’s accessing of God and then there are no limitations of time or space.
