My Asteroid Picks are pretty amazing. They will hit me out of the blue. I can feel the essence of a person. I feel it in a flash, usually. I am, almost, always right. I, recently, made an Asteroid Pick of Hekate and made a direct hit. The person had Hekate conjunct the Moon.
Hekate represents one’s shadow side. If I see a person who presents with a “big, fake, mask” for lack of better words, I will think of Hekate. Not all masks are Hekate. However, if I see a person who is OBVIOUSLY trying to be something she is not, that will be Hekate, in many cases.
Let me see if I can explain in a simpler way. When I feel the disconnect between how the person is TRYING to appear and the sense of how she REALLY is, that would be the essence of Hekate. The person does not, actually, know she is deceiving/lying. She is lying/deceiving herself but it is obvious for others to see.
I will give a practical example of Hekate. It was on an Oprah Winfrey show. One of the guests was obviously a very, very angry person. His countenance was one of the essence of anger. Oprah asked him if he was angry. He said that he never got angry. The audience laughed. This would be the essence of Hekate. Everyone can see the nature of the person except for the person.
One must understand the Asteroids, as intimate friends, before one can make Asteroid Picks, in my opinion.
